With its 4 steps, the ladder hangs deep into the water, making it ideal for use in shallow water. A bungee can be used to hold the 4th step up to the 3rd step to prevent it from rubbing the ground when in shallow water. Designed for under-platform use, the ladder stows easily and compactly, making it perfect for installations under swim platforms or under the deck on the bow or side of pontoon boats. The ladder stows compactly within its own length and features a spring-loaded, self-locking mechanism for easy stowage, eliminating the need for Velcro straps, bungee cords, and rubber straps. The flat poly treads provide increased comfort, and the ladder is constructed from 316 stainless steel, rated to support up to 1190 lbs.

Mounting Instructions:

1. Choose the most suitable side of your transom platform for mounting the ladder.
2. When mounting, ensure the ladder will not interfere with the turning of the motor or be near the propeller of your craft.
3. Position the mounting bracket with the ladder in the area to be attached.
4. Mark the eight mounting holes of the bracket onto the deck surface.
5. Drill the eight marked holes using a suitable drill bit. It is recommended to through-bolt the ladder for a secure installation.
6. Mount the ladder in place by holding the bracket up to the platform and inserting the mounting screws. Secure the ladder in place with fasteners (not provided, as installations may vary).

Safety Guidelines:

1. Do not jump or dive from the ladder.
2. Do not use the ladder when the motor is running.
3. This ladder is designed for boat use only.
4. Face the ladder when entering the boat or water.
5. Only one person should be on the ladder at a time.
6. Check all steps and hardware before using.
7. Never operate your boat with the ladder in the "down" position, as this may result in serious injury or damage to your boat or the ladder.

The ladder is constructed of marine-grade 316 stainless steel and has a proof load to support even the biggest swimmer. Each step has a slip-proof plastic tread to ensure maximum safety. The telescoping steps fold quickly and effortlessly into the water for safe boarding, and the low-profile stainless steel steps fold compactly for storage, giving the boarding ladder a sleek look. The ladder requires minimal depth, fore and aft, and mounts easily under any swim platform or other mounting area. This boat ladder is designed to be mounted below your swim grid or other platform, allowing the swim grid to remain unobstructed when the ladder is stowed, yet it can be easily folded out at your convenience. It can be used as a pontoon ladder and a dock ladder.

When extended, the ladder is 34.4 inches in length, with a distance of 10.6 inches between each step. The tube thickness is 1.26 inches, 1 inch and 0.75 inches from top to bottom. When folded, the ladder is 15 inches in length and 11.5 inches in width.
